HE-LPC29If you are like most of us you do not get out in the sun much, or your daily intake of Vitamin D is not up to par. There are many ways of making sure we are eating and drinking the right amount of Vitamin D, but there is a simple way to make sure you are getting the right dose and that is with a supplement. Do you find yourself getting depressed in the winter, around the months of January, February and March??? I like to look at Vitamin D as a sunshine holiday. I know, it sounds crazy but when you are getting the amount of Vitamin D you are supposed to be getting, then your body is going to thank-you and so are your moods.  With all of the immune system builder out there, this inexpensive little Vitamin should be included in there too.

A Parasite Cleanse

tummyMost of us don’t like to talk about Parasites. The thing is, everyone has them, and there are good parasites as well as bad ones. Many of us can go on with our lives and not suffer much from them at all, but then there are some of us who suffer terribly from them. If any of you suffer from IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) then you are going to want to read more :-) I attend a Yoga class on Wednesday mornings, and have been for years. I am not sure how the conversation started, but I brought up my IBS to one of the ladies there. She told me she also suffered from IBS, or used to suffer until she went on these Para-Rid capsules. She told me that she does not suffer anymore after doing the cleanse. I had to try it, what was I going to loose. You take 3 pills in the morning and 3 pills at night for 7 days. Skip 5 days and then do the same thing for 7 more days. They say it is best to do it again in the spring and in the fall. I swear by these pills and they are all natural.

yogaposeWith September being Yoga month it is a great opportunity to experience all the benifits of this exercise. It doesn’t just feel great to do Yoga it is great for your whole body. It has been proven to help with back pain, menopause, breast cancer, and even helps you look and feel younger. Some of us have been active this summer with biking, walking, running, and swimming, but as the summer slows down and the weather changes, its nice to have something else to fall back on to help us stay in shape and keep us from getting those winter blues

passionflower1Many of us of heard of it, some of us have never heard of it, but truthfully the Passion Flower has been around for a very long time. Passion Flower is a  “calming” herb for anxiety, insomnia, seizures, and hysteria. With a lot of the sleeping aids some of us take out there, this one is natural, and leaves no side effects the next day. I have used it myself and find it very helpful. I only use it when I need it, and in moderation.  I find that it helps with the middle of the night wakings . Some of us have a hard time falling back to sleep after waking up in the middle of the night. Before you take Passion Flower, it is best to read the link first. Talking to your doctor would be wise also. There may be some medications that you are taking that could interact in a bad way when you take both things together.
