December the 8th 1980, at age 40, John Lennon was shot in front of the Dakota in New York City with his wife Yoko Ono at his side. A shock to the whole world, the sadness still lingers in my soul. A brilliant man, with so much to offer, and so talented will be missed forever. Even after all of these years John still seems to be making his mark. There are people who come and go out of our lives, and some of those people even when they are gone, seem like they are still here. I guess true talent never dies. Peace to you John. Read more

How exciting is this. Paul McCartney’s new CD “Memory Almost Full”. I think its pretty amazing to see Paul at the age of 65, coming out with such great music just like he always has. I have listened to most of the songs, and even find they sound a lot like The Beatles themselves. It’s the same feeling and effect for sure. Paul is so musically gifted, and in my opinion he is a musical genius. Of course, loving The Beatles as much as I do, I had to check Paul’s web site out. You can listen to the new CD on there as well as watch some videos. Read more

In John’s words…
“Think peace and you’ll get it. It’s up to the people… If we really wanna change it, we can change it.” I was so excited when I found this article. In 1969 Jerry Levitan snuck into John Lennon’s room in Toronto to do an interview with John for his school paper. This was during the time John and Yoko were doing their bed-in phase to promote peace. Jerry is now 51 years old and has produced a film about it. There is a small clip with sound that you can watch and listen too. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Read more

Wondering who I am referring too? Yup, no other then one of my favorite people, John Lennon. I think most of us knew that John drew a few things, but he used to sketch quite a few pictures. Some of himself and some of Yoko Ono. Acting for John Lennon’s estate, Yoko began releasing limited addition prints of Lennon’s artwork. I think its nice to see John’s artwork out there now. He never put much of it out while he was alive. Thanks Yoko. John Lennon’s self portrait sketch is unmistakably him. Seems he was an artist in every way. Read more
