It can be very hard to tell whether or not these products have been tested on animals or not. In some cases, it does say right on the package but sometimes it does not. Some companies do not test their products on animals but they use raw...

The Ugly Truth About Dog Fighting

Lately this has been a discussion that has become world wide. Michael Vick is being indicted with charges on this matter. It is very hard for me to fathom, someone finding something as cruel and inhuman a sport. I wonder if the dogs think its like a sport. A good way to have fun with their fellow dogs. I really don’t think so. These fights can last up to two hours at a time. Dogs used in these...

STOP Canada’s Cruel Seal Hunt

I am very proud of being Canadian, but when I found out more about the massive seal hunt in the North Atlantic, I was not only devistated, but disgraced by our Canadian government, and how they would ever allow such an inhumane thing to ever happen in the first place. Not supporting  Canadian Seafood is the first step.  Read More →

Stop Animal Testing

I have just watched a video clip of animal testing. It sickens me to even think, a human being could ever do this to an innocent, helpless animal. This has been going on for years. How is it possible that they can think that tesing products on animals is a humane thing to do. This is only my opionion, but honestly, after you watch this, your view of everything will change. If you are unable to handle...

Puppy Mills

Approximately 500,000 puppies per year are bred in puppy mills, facilities known for their filthy, overcrowded conditions and the unhealthy animals they produce. Each of the 4,000-5,000 puppy mills in the U.S., most of which are located in the Midwest, houses between 75 to 150 breeding animals. Only half of the dogs bred at puppy mills make it to the pet store; the other half die from the mill’s...

End cruelty to all animals

Every year, 41 million animals are killed for their skins via trapping, gassing, neck breaking, and anal or genital electrocution. Fur farmers claim that they are strongly committed to providing humane care, but there is nothing humane about raising animals in small, cramped spaces where stress-related deaths, cannibalism, and self-mutilation are all too common. Fashion simply does not justify animal...

Thousands of Chickens Tortured by KFC Supplier

In July 2004, PETA revealed the results of an investigation into a KFC-supplying slaughterhouse in Moorefield, West Virginia, where workers were caught on video stomping on chickens, kicking them, and violently slamming them against floors and walls. Workers also ripped the animals’ beaks off, twisted their heads off, spat tobacco into their eyes and mouths, spray-painted their faces, and squeezed...
