How can we make a difference??? When you go to the grocery store, instead of plastic bags, purchase some of those plastic bins, or cloth bags work great too! It is pretty wild how much plastic and paper is being used just at the grocery store alone. The clothes dryer. We all use them. They are fast, and hanging our clothes on a drying rack just seems like to much work to most of us. If possible it really would save so much more energy, if we could cut down on using the dryer, and hang our clothes on a dryer rack. Summer time is easy. You can put your racks outside, or just use a clothes line. Support your local farmers market. Buying home grown foods in your own area saves on huge amounts of fossil fuel inputs.
